Katie Cass has been at Oconee since 2022.  Prior to being a school nurse, she worked in Labor and Delivery at Piedmont Athens Regional for 10 years and taught Middle and High School PE for 6 years.

Her family calls the Blue Side home.  They love all things sports including NC State athletics.

Nurse Cass' goal is to provide a safe and healthy environment at school for our students and staff.  She wants to keep all Warriors healthy and in school!

B.A Degree in Communications – NC State University
M.Ed Degree in Physical Education and Health – Valdosta State University
AS Degree in Nursing – Athens Technical College
